Commercial laundries have been organized since 1953 under the umbrella of the Certification Association for Professional Textile Service e.V., which is particularly committed to product and quality assurance in the sector of laundry care. The emphasis here is on “Association”, from which all members benefit in today’s challenging market environment. The quality association focuses on the three pillars of quality control, market development, and professional development to support its members to be commercially successful in the long term. Customers of the member businesses can rely on the laundries with Quality Marks for receiving consistently high-quality laundry and the highest level of hygiene management.

With this system of hygiene management in laundries, the member businesses’ customers benefit from the close collaboration between the association and the international Hohenstein Textile Research Center and the resulting advantage in knowledge in all areas of industrial textile care.
